A designer, an artist, a rebel, Erick Vogel was born in Chile and grew up in Caracas, Venezuela, where he pursued his creative ambitions at the School of Illustrators and Designers, ultimately receiving a BFA in traditional illustration. After school, Erick relocated to Miami to begin his career in advertising. His first stateside position was at Seed, working for such clients as Sony and MTV. He soon thereafter became the art director for LOFT magazine, a men's latin publication, where he supervised photoshoots and design for the entire magazine. In 2005, he migrated up I-95 to New York City and found himself at Hanft & Raboy, WDDG, and Renegade Marketing. He also squeezed some time in at Tribal DDB to work on the Jose Cuervo account. For his contributions to that campaign he was awarded the prestigious ONE Show Interactive Merit Award. Until recently he plied his trade at Ogilvy & Mather as an Interactive Art Director, mainly overseeing Cisco; before that you could find him at MRM Worldwide on the Intel account. Currently at Team Chemistry/WPP as an Interactive Associate Creative Director , Erick manages a team of digital creatives and is the lead for the JNJ digital business.
